My daughter recently turned four! Before her birthday, we kept throwing around different celebration ideas and party themes. Should we have a cookout in our yard and have a kiddie pool, jumpie house etc? Do we hold off-site at a  type of kiddie playland? All great options… options we’ve done for previous parties . This year we wanted to do something a little different. Love Pizza? Federal Hill Brick Oven Pizza Review & GIVEAWAY!

Sometimes, this mama needs a break from cooking!   So, on Saturdays, we typically will go out to eat. We have the good intention of trying new restaurants but after a few rounds of “where should we go?..I don’t care” (while driving around aimlessly) we usually end up at a local chain restaurant.  Now, don’t get me wrong. I love chains every now and then but really prefer to eat a fresh, home cooked, non cookie-cutter meal. This past Saturday, we went about our restaurant outing a little differently. We actually had a plan! Mind Body Barre Review & GIVEAWAY

I'm always in search for a fitness routine that is quick, fun, engaging and gets results. I have a little confession...I'm a self-admitted infomercial junkie and have tried everything. I think I may have every exercise DVD program that has come out in the last 15 years - The Firm, Step, Urban Rebounder, Slim in Six, Core Secrets, 10 Minute Trainer, Windsor Pilates, Zumba, Jillian Michaels Shred…I’ve got ‘em all.     I’ve been hearing a lot of talk about barre fitness.  For those that don’t know what it is all about, barre fitness is body sculpting and toning based around a ballet barre.  This sounded like nothing I’ve tried before and was intrigued.
