My name is Tessa. I've been married to my best friend and soul mate for close to five years. We have a happy and very inquisitive almost-4 year old little girl, "Snow White". 

I am a network marketing mompreneur with It Works Global.   Before starting with It Works, I worked full-time as a marketing copywriter.  Although I truly enjoyed my job, I struggled with work-life balance. While was at at work, I felt extreme guilt for not spending time with my little one.  I know they grow so fast and felt as though I'm missing out on precious time and moments.  

I don't know about you, but being a mom is not always easy! We have to learn to juggle all of the responsibilities and hats of being a still-sexy  and loving wife, attentive mom, hard-working employee, present friend, daughter, etc. Not to mention not forget who we once were before being "gifted" with these different, yet fabulous, hats! 

 Luckily, my short time with IWG allowed me to quit my ft job and become a work-at-home mom. I set my own hours and I am my own boss. I am able to help my family financially while having more time with them. This makes me proud!!

My hope is that through sharing (and reading fan helpful tips and suggestions), Family Made Simple will help each of us become master jugglers!

Quick, Easy & Light Comfort Food!

All I seem to crave in the winter is yummy, comfort food. We often think that comfort food has to be heavy, full of fat and take a long time to prepare. That's not the case. One of our family favorites only takes about 5 minutes to prepare and 30 mins to cook. “Grandma’s Quick & Easy Roasted Chicken Casserole” 2 Boxes of Perdue Chicken Short Cuts Cooked Chicken Strips 6 slices of  Kraft sliced Swiss cheese (I prefer the light) 1 box of Stove Top Stuffing 2 cans of Campbell's Condensed Soup low-fat Cream of Chicken Soup In a 9x13 casserole dish, layer chicken, cheese and stuffing (prepared per directions on box but not cooked). Pour soup over top. Bake in a 350deg oven for about 30 mins. My family loves this dish. It not only will make your home smell like your cooked all day, but your tummy will be satisfied, with this comfort dish!
