Tips From Other Moms For Teaching Colors & Shapes

  •  When folding towels say the color and shape EX. "This is a blue towel. A towel is a rectangle" or This is a yellow washcloth. Washcloths are a square"
  •  While washing dishes do the same thing while your young child is in a walker or playing with toys on the floor close by. Say "This is a green plate. Plates are circles."
  •  While driving to the store (or anywhere), say the colors of the cars, houses, street signs, or anything else you pass on the way. ~ From Tonya M.
