Be the BEST You in 2012- Health & Fitness Challenge



I can't believe I'm turning the big 36 in less than 2 weeks (big sigh!).

I want this year to be the healthiest yet! I want to look good, feel good and get my youthful energy back! 

I’ve tried a million times to do it on my own but realized, I need support. I need someone or (100s of other FMS women) to hold me accountable. In other words, I don't want to say to someone "Nope..didn't work out again". Sound like you?




We all want to look and feel our best. Maybe you want to lose 5 lbs or 100lbs? Maybe you just want more energy to play with your kids? We all have a reason and a goal!

Ladies, please don't make me do this alone.

Take the 1st Step
Be the BEST You in 2012!


Here’s how:
  1. Write a post on the FMS wall saying you are committing to be the BEST You in 2012!
  2. On a piece of paper, write down your goals. Ex. Mine is “I want to be a healthy and as fit as can be ME, energetic mom and wife”. 
  3. Put it where you can see it every day – on your fridge, bathroom mirror, etc
  4.  Recruit a friend, spouse, etc to join you. Be competitive…it’s amazing how this will help motivate you!
  5.  Take baby steps – cut out one soda a day, try to cut out bread at dinner, exercise for 15 mins a day. You don’t have to join a gym.  If you have cable with an “on demand-like” feature, you can find 10-15-20-30 min exercise routines.
  6. Each week, increase your commitment. Maybe exercise a little longer, cut out all sugar drinks. Whatever works for YOU!
  7. Each additional week, push yourself to do a little more! Believe in YOURSELF!
  8. If you don't reach your weekly goal, don't get down on yourself, don't quit! Get back up and try again! After all, you are a super mom!
  9. Most of all, go to the FMS page to log in your accomplishments, frustrations, need for motivation, excitement… 
  10. Remember, we are here for you!!!!

  1. I LOVE THIS, and I needed to read this today! It's funny how God send us just what we need, just when we need it!! I lost 72 pounds between Easter and Thanksgiving...then I came down with walking pneumonia and was put on steroids and antibiotics...I gained 15 pounds in 5 days! I lost all motivation at that point. I haven't gained anything since then, but I haven't been working on losing either because I felt like all the hard work I had done just went right out the window. Thank you for this blog post!! I needed this :)
